Kyoceras Torque E6710 gets FCC approval

Kyoceras rugged Torque E6710 smartphone gets FCC approval, might head to Sprint with LTE intact

If youre on a quest to buy a new Android smartphone on Sprint that can take a good beating, it seems youll soon have another option in the Kyocera Torque, a rugged offering from the Japan-based manufacturer.

The Kyocera Torque, which bears the E6710 model number, was first spotted by the folks at Unwired View earlier in the month and the phone has since made its way to FCC. Interestingly, the FCC filling reveals that the Torque comes with LTE and NFC.

The complete specs are still missing, but from the photo we can see that itll run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and sport a rear camera and a front-facing one.

While Sprint is yet to make the Torque E6710 official, the carrier is known to have some good relationship with Kyocera, what with the release of the waterproof Hydro last year, as well as carrying several other handsets from the less-known phone maker.

Kyocera’s Torque E6710 gets FCC app

Did you see the date in that filing? It was August 1st-2nd. I have news for ya, he's been jamming without a care ever since, and bragging on 3840 that the feds can F-off.
